So what are everyone's thoughts on the show.

Personally I loved it. The usage of Hall 1 was great. I think spreading them out to 4 different areas and the aisle being wider were great. I hope this can be a permanent set up moving forward.

Looking forward to being there Sunday.

I bought my ticket back when restrictions were in place, so did you happen to notice a line or checkin area for that, or did everyone enter the same way?

Allow me to gladly fill you in!

I got there at the opening time. So after the vaccine check ins and the opening crowd, it took about 30-40 minutes. When I left there was no crowd and lineup outside the doors, so thankfully the line is just an opening crowd.

Inside hall 1 was fantastic. Is so much more beautiful and nicer than hall 5. The separation of 3 areas for dealers was great. It did not feel as condensed as years past. What I did notice were more dealers were open to deals but on Sunday. They want to ride out the weekend and see how they do.

All in all I enjoyed myself and this was Friday, so expect even heavier crowds over the weekend. It was fun and great to be back at the expo again. The promoters did a good job with the layout.

Thank you, not sure I’ve got clarity on line ups.

Anyone with pre-purchased tickets have input? Is there just one line for everyone or do pre-purchased tix go in a separate line?

I find the layout to be BRUTAL. There is an entire section of dealers that are being missed because they’re in a separate part of the hall.

Aside from that, it’s been a great show. I was curious if dealers who show up with the same stuff every year would triple their prices and YES, they have. Seems like people are spending money…I know dealers FOR SURE are buying. I had a few nice pickups. Skipping today and heading back tomorrow.

Merci, permettez-moi de le demander de cette façon

Y a-t-il une seule ligne pour entrer, ou y a-t-il une ligne distincte pour les billets pré-achetés

I only had a few hours this afternoon to go down, got there at noon, saw the lineup to get in, drove around for half an hour trying to find a parking spot within a twenty minute walk then realized I was just getting frustrated so I left. Not complaining about the venue or set up or anything - it all is what it has to be - just wish I’d had more patience today.

I went today and found the new Hall/Layout to be really nice. I enjoyed browsing today and will be back tomorrow (Sunday) as well.

Price are very high an everything it seems, and a lot of people in a buying mood and are spending the big bucks, so dealers want to capitilize on that..

There is a lot of people there and that is always fun to see from a hobby health point of view. Love seeing people getting excited about cards.

It's great to look at cardboard again!

I found the other hall by accident on Friday. The dealers there looked upset and traffic was very low over there. I hope they didn't have to pay full price for tables in that area.

My brother was there from 11:40-4:10, was ready to leave, and noticed the other room at the last second. He then spent almost two more hours there.

The set up was brutal. The aisles may have been wider in the the back, but certainly not the front. I spoke to several dealers and not one was impressed. The guys in the back of the first section said they had little traffic on day one. The guys in the very back room that I talked to hated their location. There were two tables that I could not get to at all as the autograph lineup had them completely blocked off. 10 000 people in the room (no clue of actual number) and 20 tables in the food court. I was ready to leave after the first 2 hours although things did get better for me personally.

Topper of the weekend.....went with my youngest son Friday. Took both of my sons with me Saturday as I now have a son that has to pay to get in and he doesnt need to be there all 3 days. Decided not to go back sunday as I just didnt enjoy myself as much as usual. Sat night at hotel oldest son tells me he saw a Ryan Getzlaf jersey that he had really liked. So we go back Sunday morning just to get the jersey, 10 minutes tops. I tell security that I have a weekend pass. My son and I both have our green vac bracelets on. My son has his bracelet from yesterday on. We just want to grab a jersey and will be in and out in 10 minutes.....nope cant do it son needs todays bracelet. Fine he can have my vip pass and go in and I will wait in the hallway....nope not allowed. So we leave without the jersey :(

I thought the layout was fine, any confusion i had was related to it not being the usual auditorium. Yeah there was some oddity to the layout but far from problematic to the buyer.

As a buyer however, and like many have said, it was a show for those with good cash liquidity ;). Man everything was pricey. I only grabbed 2 PC items and came up empty on my searches for a fellow HI’er.

I found a total of zero cards from the 90’s. My quest will be tough, but at least I was able to get some contacts and leads on 90s stuff.

Shout out to Kenney @Imperial Garden on being showcased in the latest Sports Card Investor video, Monster trade! That was great to see a local name!

disapointing show for myself ,if your in the Market to buy a Gretzky Rookie, Mario Lemieux rookie, Younguns of McDavid, matthews... this is a show for you I must have seen at the very least 300 to 400 Gretzky rookies and even more Mcdavid and Matthews young guns ,but none of my needs.
