Wow. Big night for Benn and Seguin. Six pointer for Benn and five for Seguin. That moves Seguin into the top 5 in scoring. Loui who??? Boston fans may be asking now. I still think they gave up on him too early but that is neither here nor there. Just a big night for Dallas' top guys tonight.

Finally a thread about the Stars under the League Discussion!! Yes, Benn and Seguin were pretty much unstoppable tonight, all over the place, back-checking, winning pucks, but don't forget Val Nis, he made a lot of those plays possible, even if he didn't collect the points that Jamie and Tyler did!

:stars::stars::stars::stars:Was at the Dome tonight. Enjoyed every second. Nobody threw any hats out on the hat trick, a couple guys did on the 4th lol.

Also Rich Peverly has been clutch in the last few games as well;)

Last time I checked Boston is doing pretty well...yes Seguin is good and will most likely thrive in Dallas. That doesn't mean he was a good fit for Boston. Loui has been pretty good so far as has Smth...they for nicely and are both getting stronger. Nobody in Boston is saying "man we could Segs right now." Boston did what they felt was the best move. We are second in the EC and the only team ahead of us, we have dominated.

I'd trade all the regular season goals and point for a key face off win or a few plays against the boards where it counts, in the playoffs. Highlight of that game though was definitely Lehotonen sitting on the net. Yup, it was that easy for him.

Whoa Boston Fans. I didn't mean that it was a bad trade or that Boston was way better with Seguin. I just would have waited a little longer for him to develop. Maybe actually help him with that. Not just say, eh he's weak in the corners and he didn't score in the playoffs then ship him off. I am pretty sure that most young talent needs to be "coached" and Boston just didn't do that for him. We all also know that there is always more to the story. Maybe he just didn't fit in the locker room in Boston.

Austin was all about this trade! :goal:

I think it was just the fact that a guy with all the skills in the world did not make any progress in 3 years, was late to various meetings, needed a security guard at his door during the playoffs to make sure he didn't sneak out past curfew. Winning organizations just can't let that fly, and the bruins didn't. Sacrifice one for the many. If anyone has dish network all sports package, I recommend the first episode of Behind the B which has a pretty sweet boardroom conversation with Neely, Chiarelli and the B's scouts and the decision to trade Tyler was unanimous. He'll be a 30-40 goal scorer for sure, anymore than that time will tell.
