This guy.

Now I'm not bashing BBR - I love the product and continue to spend money on it - but that's not great return. I don't think he did himself any favours the way he listed the cards, but still...that's about 30% return.

As an eBay Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
Isn't that rather typical for sales on the secondary market for ITG products? Not to mention, it basically weeds out LOTS of potential buyers just for the fact that it is Montreal players only. The only card in the entire lot that would remotely interest me is the Harvey jersey.

On a side note....how many people here who have bought this product and re-sold it have actually made any money on it? Not many I'm sure.

The person I know who broke a book of this turned it over into $160.

I think it is so high end it is not even on most bidders radar...

I would have to agree with this. I have a huge Habs' collection and add to it every day. But there are only a few cards from BBR that I'm interested in - because of the combination of both desirability and price. But I am a big supporter of H+P and BTP.

I suspect he would have been much better off to split them up. I've never seen anyone sell their break, as a whole break, and make money, so this isn't just about BBR.

I wouldn't have paid that much for them. Not interesting to me in the least...

Still, how must he feel about losing so much money on this stuff, just brutal.

thats a tough lesson learned not to be lazy and list them separately, i think if he listed them properly one by one, he coulda make another 20% on top, but still nothing to write home about

EDIT*

out of curiousity, i actually did a little homework of he could make if he list them separately, and i was right, he could probably do 400 US

This was my first thought...this guy's own stupidity cost him money, not the product. Why list them in one auction when individually he could have done MUCH better.

He's be starting at center ice if only he brought his skates instead of his ballet shoes. Dumb.
