Stolen Matthews Autograph on Ebay. How do I report?

Hi all,

I saw 2017-18 UD Canvas Authentic Auston Mathews Autograph (Fanatics) go up for sale on eBay and added to my watch list. When I plugged in the hologram number on Fanatics it says the item was lost or stolen. How do I report this to eBay? Do not buy if interested.

Interesting. Let me see if I can acquire some information about the item from the seller. Perhaps I can also schedule a meet to acquire the item. ? Is that a good idea?

I wondered about that as well. Might be interesting to see what would happen if you said you were really interested in it but wanted to do the deal in person.
 
In today's climate out there with all these crazy people you are taking a huge risk attempting to meet someone in person that's not even your item !
Be safe, report it.
 
maybe notify Fanatics as well? I'm sure they'd like to know the whereabouts rather than simply reporting the item to ebay who don't care.

I have contacted the seller basically showing interest. Tried to get some minor details and at least have a dialogue started with the seller.

I do not know how to find out from the Fanatics site how to tell that this card is stolen. I would like to dig deeper into this before I progress with the seller.

well.. the listing is gone. Just tried replying to a message he sent me and it brings me to the eBay home page... so looks like the seller is gone. I did not obtain any viable information. I hope the situation gets rectified.
