So I went to the card store to trade in some stuff today for credit. Ended up picking up a Maxwell BAP Jsy, Ovechkin Froz. Fabs Jsy as well as 2 packs of 08-09 Artifacts with some of the credit. 1st pack yielded a Fernandez Froz. Art. Jsy /100. The second pack yielded this piece.

Now for the question. Does anyone have any idea where the Modano patch is from?

Red wings jersey they always screw up on Modanos patch cards.

No but for real it might bw from a all star game

Yeah, having had one of those Modano/Weight patches in hand, I can confirm the fact that it's from the third jersey. They used third jerseys for that entire print run.
 
Yeah its the third jersey. I would venture to say that Upper Deck got a great deal on that thing, as wearing that in a game is the worst decision the franchise has ever made. A close second is the mustard yellow jersey that they made up in the identical style as the green. Thank god that only ever made it to the retail store and not the ice.
 
thanks for the comments/info everyone. I personally was never a huge fan of the logo, that said. I think its better than the jerseys they currently use for home games.
