Summit Show Pick Ups!! What a "CYCLONE" of a weekend!!!Also the trunk found a new home..(Scan Heavy)

HI everybody it has been awhile since i've made a post so i thought i would share my weekend at the summit show.Had a great time,was awesome meeting a lot of our fellow members of this great site and just want to make a shout out to our fearless leader Gomaz....and all the great members of this site i had a pleasure to deal with.As some of you have read from a previous post my buddy FASTMAX (DOUG) made of our Dit Clapper trunk pick up.........needless to say one of the biggest Bruins fans in the world REALLY wanted it,he actually lived at the address that was on the trunk.Needless to say the stars aligned and it went into the right hands as you can see from these pics(all of his jerseys are game worn and he also has a dit clapper jersey):

Awesome you found the perfect home for the trunk!

Great thread Darcy!

We had a blast at the Summit! Darcy, Doug and I were set up together and we were buzzing just about the whole time working out deals. Summit seems to have established itself as the premier hobby event in Western Canada. (shameless plug for the promoters)

A few random comments:

- The Boston collector who purchased the trunk was giddy from the moment he was brought over to see it (before the show even started) until the end of the show on Sunday. It really made his whole trip worthwhile. Super nice guy and just awesome that Darcy and Doug worked with him on the trunk. What a piece.

- Funny how the hobby works in circles - that Gretzky limited logos was mine for a couple years. I moved it around a year ago and now its back in my tablemates possession. Neat-O!

- Darcy and I have set up at several shows together now and I can tell y'all that he is only able to pick up all those beauties because his showcases are stocked with awesome cards and he is easy to work with. I am trying to get him to come to Fall Expo but if not, he says he'll be at Summit V in Calgary October 12-13, so more chances then to do more deals together.

- Final thought: I want that Gretz Scripted Stick....it is nastylicious!

Darcy and Doug, it was a blast at the expo, I still cant stop laughing about the car that you guys had, When me and Steve were beside you going to Zets, it looked like you guys were in a car fromn the future lol, I hope some one still has a picture of it.


Oh yeah AMAZING pick ups, but that doesnt compare to the hall eberle 1/1 which by the way I am still waiting for a show n tell :foottap::foottap::foottap::foottap::foottap::foottap:
