so yesterday and today was the summit show in Edmonton. i opened three boxes including the btp pack war box.
On Saturday i opened 2010-2011 zenith it wasn't the best box ive opened of this product but it wielded a very nice rookie roll call anders lindback four colour patch. it also contained a Jeff petry rookie out of 999. a Tommy wingels rookie auto out of 999. and a winter warriors ville leino.
on Sunday i opened two boxes. in the morning i couldn't decide if i wanted a box of 11-12 play-off contenders or 11-12 crown royale.i took the crown royale from the great guys at west's sports cards and apparently i picked right. in the box i got two auto s and three jersey cards. the first pack contained a Sidney Crosby lords of the NHL insert and a private signings of ondrej pavelec. second pack contained a ruby parallel of Jacob markstrom and an all the kings men jersey of Patrick marleu. third pack was a Brendan Nash rookie and a royal lineage triple jersey of the Minnesota wild and north stars. clutterbuck modano and Dennis maruk. last pack was the best. first card was the bobby hull legends then a royal lineage triple jersey of the Detroit red wings with Tatar holmstrom and yzerman and the very last card was a Calder collection Ryan Nugent Hopkins autograph. it was a great box.
next up i had the hobby insider pack war. the inserts were 4 10th anniversary cards of annti niemi Jacques plante Patrick Roy and James reimer. next was 2 masked men silver of Marc Andre fleury an mike smith and a masked men ruby of rogie vachon. i got three autograph of Greg Stefan Cedric desjardins and Reggie lemelin. i ended up with two jersey cards. one of Jonas hiller gold two colours with a huge seam running through the middle and the second was an aspire dual of chet pickard and pekka rinne. the redemption i got from hobby insider was a Jonathan quick gold jersey and from itg i originally had a Dan mrazek but i traded it to mack with a henrik Lundquist jersey Stephan da Costa rookie auto and a Curtis Sanford auto for his redemption of a complete jersey of nicklas backstrom with a piece of his jersey emblem number and fight strap.
it was a great show as it always is.
