Summit Show VI May 23 and 24

Summit Show VI will be the largest Sports Collectible show in Western Canada.

Show times are
Saturday May 23 10:00am - 5:00pm
Sunday May 24 10:00am - 4:00pm

Tickets are $10 for a day, $15 for the weekend

OR

NEW $50 Weekend VIP front of the line to get in and guaranteed no more then 5 minute wait for autograph guests and are limited to 50 passes. If you want one please message and we can line up payment for it.

Kids 12 and under get in free with a guardian. They will also be getting a pack of cards or stickers on their way in.

Sunday May 24
10:30am - 12:00pm Andy Moog
12:00pm - 1:00pm Hayley Wickenheiser
2:00pm - 3:30pm Bobby Hull

Classic Authentic will be taking care of the autographs. Please check Summit's page or website for prices.

Lots of great vendors will be setting up to buy and trade but mostly to sell some great products. Such as card, photos, magazines, posters, cutouts, post cards, goalie masks, jerseys and game used equipment(sticks and jerseys).

Beckett grading will also be here to take your submissions for grading. If it goes well enough then next time they will do raw card reviews.

Oilers nation will be there selling shirts and stickers.

Tsn 1260 will also be at the show handing out some promotions.

The Edmonton Eskimos will also be there to promote the upcoming season and selling season seats. I got mine do you?

Never thought it would be so difficult to decide what to bring to a show - so I guess I am bringing it all LOL

Actually have a been working for a week getting ready. Will be bringing a wide selection of Cup and National Treasures Rookies, and some very interesting booklets - Yakapov / RNH. Also some great game used items from 11/12 The Cup.

From this year - a huge selection of ICE - including Johnny Gaudreau Rookie; short prints and lower valued rookies. Nice selection of autographs; glacial graphs and UD Black. Complete set of ICE #'s 1 - 84 (42 short prints).

O-Pee-Chee Platinum - I will have a large selection of all parallel sets (black/blue/ red/ white/ traxx and rainbows) - over 1,500 parallels to help you finish your sets. Variants and rookie autographs - highlighted by Black Johnny Gaudreau and Blue Bo Horvat. Complete Retro set will be available - as well as the Johnny Gaudreau gold autograph # 1 of 1.

UD Masterpieces - large selection of all of the short prints and parallels. Great selection of game used and autographs - including wire photos - Jagr and Gretzky. Complete set (including all rookies and short prints) will be available at the show).

Young Guns and lots more, including 100's of star cards starting from only $1.00.

I am hoping to find a Cup 08-09 #62 Marc-Andre Gragnani autographed rc /249. Funny I have the rest of the rainbow just need the regular card.
 
what an awesome saturday at the show………can't say enough good things and great to see some old faces and met some new ones, and my wife even had fun looking through all the odds and ends stuff that you don't normally see :)

I can't wait for my wickenheiser and moog autos, Mack I set up a mail order for those two because I am unable to attend today, but want to thank you for a great show
 
Spent all day Saturday at the Summit, and all I can say is Well done! Marcel, you put on a helluva show! Every vendor I spoke to was very happy with the venue, and the amount of people that came through. I know you worked pretty hard to set this up, and I never saw you stop at all on Saturday, so I hope you get the chance to take a break after today, you deserve it. The show was kick ***, great job Mack!

Thanks Craig, glad you enjoyed it and noticing the the work I am putting into the show. I should of had a fitbit cause I am sure I hit 20+ km that day. No real break till tomorrow. The door of my office at work tomorrow will say Gone Fishing. Thanks for making it up to the show.

I really do not know what I would change other then the date but knowing my luck some days if I changed it to January we would either get a blizzard all weekend or a +30 degree weekend.

If you peeps have any suggestions I'm all ears.
 
Did anybody submit cards to Grosnors for BGS Grading at the Edmonton Summit? If so, have you received your graded cards?

How long does it takes? The guy told me a month for Grosnor to ship to me but it's 1.5 months so far.

I just spoke to Mike from beckett and everyone should see them this week or next. I am a little disappointed that it has taken this long and I will be talking to them about it.
 
Received my graded cards on Friday... no customs or GST fees and this was my first time submitting to Beckett. Very impressed!!!
