Summit Show is growing this year. JSA is coming back to authenticate autographs and Beckett Authentic is probably making the trek. Beckett grading will be back again taking submissions and doing on site raw card review. Autograph guests will be announced over the next 3 months.

This is a Western Expo. Great vendors selling, buying and trading.

Save the date April 22+23 Millennium Place, Sherwood Park(greater Edmonton area).

:laugh::laugh: If you scatter Emblem cards on the ground you may be able to distract him long enough to get away.

Great to see that Bossy & Trottier are coming, just might have to look into going.
 
For us "first timers", what is the deal with the Summit? Open at the usual "10 AM" time or is there an early bird an hour early, etc. How many tables usually? Inquiring minds wanna know! lol

Hi, show opens at 10am and I get people that are there before 10 to pay and line up so once 10 hits everyone is in. No body likes line ups. The show hours are 10-5pm on Saturday and 10am- 4pm on Sunday. Admission is $10/ day, $15 for the weekend or $50 for a VIP weekend pass that gets you front of the line into the show and for the autograph guests.

It has been 80+ booths so 160+tables but it will be bigger this year. Anywhere from 120-160 booths for this years show. More autograph guests and a few other surprises to be announced closer to show time.

Wow that's outstanding. I can't wait to get "my first time" under my belt. Great way to meet more in the local collecting scene as well, since I've been away since the late 90s, and only just back for a few months now.

We have also announced Lanny McDonald, Marcel Dionne, Mike Palmateer and Warren Skorodenski to the autograph guest line up.
 
I might be in Edmonton that weekend to write a professional foresters test, might need to find a way to relax after that.
 
Michel Goulet is now added to autograph guests.

Upper Deck will be at the show with a promotional set for when you open boxes at their booth. Details on the set and which boxes will be part of the promotion will be announced closer to show time.
 
Just a note that the hotel that is attached to Millenium Place and was called Holiday Inn Sherwood Park Conference Center is now called the Clarion Hotel & Conference Center.

11 days away till Summit Show VIII

Upper Deck will be attending the Summit Show for the first time ever. Actually it is the first time they have been to Western Canada for a show. They produced a special Biography of a season set of the Oilers that will be given away when you open up boxes of cards at their booth. They will also have some beautiful Upper Deck Authentic on display. Here are all the details.

Beckett Grading will be there taking submissions all weekend. They will also be there doing raw card review on Saturday. Beckett will also be taking submissions for Beckett Authentic.

JSA will be at the show doing live autograph authentications.

COMC will also be there taking your cards back to list.
