Who's watching Shaq's debut tonight? I am cause I think both are great teams in the West and it's a great matchup, personally I can't wait to see how shaq fits into this system!

The Suns are really dropping in the Power Rankings - 15th now down from 6th
I hate the Lakers and you know I'm a Celtics fan - could the NBA be "hoping" for a Boston - LA finals matchup ala the 1980s?
Spurs are charging again, the Rockets still win w/o Yao
Hard to say how the West will be won but the chemistry isn't there right now with Shaq
Maybe by playoff time - if they make the playoffs!

A Celtic - Piston match up is going to happen. The Cavs don't have enough to beat either. I think the Spurs and Lakers are the best in the west, should be interesting to see. The west has 5-6 teams who could go through including the Mavs, Suns, Warriors however I think the Lakers and Spurs are the stronger teams.
I still predict a Spurs -Pistons final....sorry Geoff I don't think the Celtics will get past the Pistons.

A spurs/pistons playoff is the most boring thing to watch on tv, plus I don't see Detroit coming out on top at the east, more like either celtics or orlando!
