UPS dropped off this 2014 Sochi Olympics Team USA gamer today. I really wanted a Kane, Oshie, or Stepan but they went for stupid coin so I didn't bother bidding on them. The Stepan actually went for less then I expected but it's fine. My goal was to land this one from the beginning since I knew it would go the cheapest, and the jersey number is my birth year (yeah I'm old so what). And, I won a Faulk IIHF WC bronze medal gamer too, so I guess I am the new resident Justin Faulk gamer collector....... It wasn't cheap by any means, but it was the cheapest one of the auction so I saved some coin to hopefully buy the matching blue version to keep the set together.

Anyways, these are super nice in person, and I am soooooo glad they finally went away from that stupid "swift" material. Another Olympics and another failed dream, oh well, maybe in my adult lifetime they might win Olympic Gold, maybe.

Nice addition. Congrats. I have a jersey in the mail right now that I can't wait to arrive at my door as well. I can definitely understand the excitement. I landed my Czech Olympic jersey from the 2010 Olympics via Classis Auctions a couple years ago. Sometimes, you just want the name on the front, not necessarily the one on the back.

As for the 72 year....I too would be wearing that number. It's all good. Like I tell everyone, 18 year old brain, 41 year old body= 29 years old.
