Ok everyone has been granted GM status for the Texans...what would you do with the overall #1 pick? I personally would not trade it unless I can fill several team needs and also still pick up a later #1 pick. Possibly atleast one star player along with the #1 pick and a one or two quality players as well. At any rate as the GM what would you demand in return for #1 overall pick.

Here more about the possible letting go of #1. thanks to foxsports.com

It makes sense to me, and here's why:

Bush is an amazingly football player, but he won't look that great running behind the Texans O-Line. Houston should trade down to the Jets #4 pick and pick D'Brickshaw, he should be a great addition to the line. Being a Broncos fan, I can never underestimate the value of a solid O-Line. Also, an upgraded line should not only improve the running game, it should also give Carr better protection. The reason why Houston doesn't need to draft a top expensive running back is because Gary Kubiak is the coach. After working in Denver for so long, he knows how to find running backs elsewhere for less money that will fit the running system. The Jets really need a quarterback for the future and I'm sure they're willing to pay nice for the chance to get Linert. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.
