For $51.7 million. Just a little bit more then what Boston paid for Dice K. Hope he signs, I think he's the real deal(not being biased because he is Japanese). Although contract + 51.7 million is a lot of cash. Yu think he is worth it?

It's crazy but if he doesn't sign, at least they get their money back.
They had a thing on Dice K. Was it worth it for Boston(50mil + a 6 year $50 mil contract I think)? In his first year,they won the World Series and his second year, he had 18 wins, but after that he got injured and went down the toilet. Some say, because he helped win the World Series, it was worth it but then some say, since he was only good for the 2 of the 6 years, wasn't it worth it. This is a huge gamble for Texas, imagine if he chokes. All that money wasted.

Now that I think about it, it's only crazy when it comes to hyped out players(the 2 mentioned). I say this because Brewers won the rights to Norichika Aoki for only 2.5 mil.
