The Cup obersvation regarding number of cards per pack....

Hey fellas...this is a question/observation about what I've seen come from The Cup. The packs are either 4, 5, or 6 cards. The six card packs are heavy and easily detectible (once they have been removed from the tin, of course). The four card packs have a foam piece on top and are fewer and further between. However, of the three four-card packs I've seened open one had an amazing Oveckin auto/patch (4 colour), another had a 1/1 auto'd Brian Trottier jersey and the last one today had the Oveckin RC #/99.

So if you pick the box up from your tin and it feels light you've likely got something sweeeeeet in there.

Not all 6 card packs are loaded however....I've had 3 so far with four base cards in them.

I thought I had a 5 card tin. When I flipped the cards out, only five popped out. Then I saw the Cherry stuck to the bottom.

That's confusing... when I first read it, it messed with my head, haha.

Ryan, there have been two breaks I believe I've seen on the Beckett messageboard which stated they received only three cards... I can't find them amongst the others right now. I believe they were missing the base card.

Wow. As long as it's just the base card, no biggie. But at $400 a pack to be short one of the money cards....that's grounds for losing it.

A four card break on Beckett just yielded a dual shield Giguere/Selanne....and another with a Crosby auto patch /99

It's actually nice to see that they took the effort to ensure value in *each* pack.

Well - I went through 4 packs today - two had 5 cards and two had 6. Three press plates out of the four packs - overall thought that the collation would be better - all packs from the same case, and have a duplicate in the base cards.

Also disappointed that there are redemptions in this product - not what you would expect at $350 + per pack.

No big hits - just a lot around the fringe. Will try to post them later.
