So much promise with Brett Lawrie, but after only one season with the A's, now the White Sox are set to release him. Both teams seemingly giving up on him very quickly. In his time with the Jays he always seemed to have trouble staying healthy. Trading him for Donaldson, who went on to win the AL MVP, was one of the best moves the Jays have ever made. But its still stunning to see how Brett's career has plummeted since leaving Toronto. Is there a specific issue beyond injuries? Is there still a future in the major leagues for him?
