First, I will start by pledging my allegiance to Upper Deck. I am a huge fan of their products, and will most days bust an UD box over an ITG product.
That being said, I recently opened a box of Between The Pipes, and it was fun and full of hits. QUALITY HITS.
Footnote here: the 1/1 Masked Men error is just unacceptable. I work in Media Production for a living. There had to have been multiple proofs and people who looked at those before they were produced, and to cause such mass confusion in the market by marking them all 1/1 is just inexcusable. I give Dr. Price credit for trying to fix things quickly, but there needs to be a STRONG "Quality Check" review after this debacle.
Regardless, the BTP is the "Good" of this thread. Check out the scan below. Everything is FT/FS. Make some offers before it hits eBay.
Now, the "Ugly". Possibly one of the WORST boxes I've ever opened. 10-11 SPGU. I've had 2 decent boxes of SPGU this year, and this last one was just horrible. Some might say I beat the odds with 6 RCs, since they're only supposed to be 2 per box. But when a Sergei Bobrovsky RC worth $7 is your BEST card from a $150/box, $30/pack product, you have to review your decision to bust wax.
In the end, I guess it all evens out, but this one burned me really badly. Somebody take the contents of this box for $30 delivered please...
