Ummm... so you had to verify yourself as a bidder, but the no one knew the buyer was Canadian until the auction ended? How do they verify you? Ask your mothers maiden name?
Nice to hear it's going to the Hall, but it seems like a lot of money for a piece of wood. I definitely won't have it high on my list of things to see when I go to the Hall.
It's something that certainly belongs at the HHOF.
It would be nice if the HHOF wouldn't be so friggin' cheap all the time and actually pony up some dough to buy these unique pieces instead of relying on the goodwill of the public.
