Just witnessed the NHL Learn to Play program closing ceremonies at my rink.The Buffalo Shamrocks with Tom Barnett spearheading the event was amazing.as a player that no longer* can play,I was inspired to watch the next generation of players learning this game.
The Buffalo Sabres helped sponsor this program and definatly helped make it an experience for these kids..Doug Allen singing both National Anthems,Patrick Kaleta representing players and Sabre Tooth.
Damn makes me wish I was a kid .

That's awesome! It is good to see programs like these in the states. Gets kids interested and a couple might even fall in love with the game, like so many of us did as a kid.
