Hello all...I know I am not alone in this but just wanted to rant...It just kills to be searching over and over for set killers with nothing to show for it...brings you to the point where you even start to crack and the thoughts of giving up creep in....and then you come across it , mostly by chance , the completed listing of that exact card you were looking for...Next the panic...How did I not see it , I search almost every day....where did it go...who was the buyer...can I trac him down...Holy Cr_P!!!!!
Then sanity speaks to you and talk yourself down off the fence...its a card , there are more important things in life........

But Man It STINGS !!!!!!!
This listing was one for me....ended not to long ago....how did I not see it?
Not only was it one I need for the Wire Auto set but for the complete Parkurst auto Set...Really Stings.
In the wind now.

Apologize in advance

Blair

contact the seller, ask for contact info, look at the feedback amount the buyer has, watch for similar feedback number on the sellers feedback account

ask friends or boardmembers going to Toronto Show

never give up!

Good luck

Keep the faith Blair. That card will surface again and you'll get it. Keep in mind it's the thrill of the chase that keeps us set collectors going.

When you finish that set make sure you show it off

Thanks guys...It is the chase that's fun I agree Dean...Just so close.I have been at the Expo as well and can't locate a copy...Well last show I found one but in a set and not to broken up...that's as close...Most of the local guys going are dealers so having done that myself..not fair to ask them....I will keep searching.

Dude, I'm in the same situation. I need one card to complete a 'Monumental' set. I also know where one is, but the person is not willing to part with it - he also wants to move the complete set he has.

I also need 2 lousy parallel cards to complete a large set/50, and I've never seen either one of them.

They will all eventually surface for me. It's maddening for sure, but it's what keeps things interesting.
