Theo Fleury giving out 01-02 BAP Autos

All I know is he lives in the deep SE - since he lives fairly close to a friend of mine

here is another one I don't remember ever seeing, unless its just a signed base card?

Wow, never seen that card either. The only versions of those cards were signed ones. Both examples are from the same era, so it looks like there was at least 2 batches he didn't return.

Interesting to see if any of those make it out into the "buy-able" market. I never realized his signature is so absurd though!

Not happy about this.

The NHLPA was in charge of getting cards returned in those days and it is not appropriate for a player to not return his cards at the time and then start sending them out.

The don't really belong to him.

We are going to contact Theo.

I do not think many got out, By Theo's Tweets not many kids came to his door. But That would be a reason why I would bring 4-5 masks with me when i was a kid, find a good house and hit it up a few times LOL

Power to you DrPrice.

Love the Flames and Theo was one of their best, but if I was a set builder and saw an uncirculated card surface 10 years later, I'd be none too pleased. I think there's now been 2 cards from that set that have gone that way (Brodeur & now Fleury).

Believe there's an Arnott as well.

You knew this was coming. Not sure why Theo would think this was okay.

Speaking as a set builder of this set, I would consider the Brodeur card, Fleury card, and others (Like Lindros and Arnott) 'curiosities' and not part of the 'official' set.
