I agree though about Stammer's out of control prices, glad I took a different route with the Emblem, cost me some serious dough, but there's only 1.......

I sold the jersey numbered Ice premieres Stamkos RC 91/99 for $500 but don't even get me started on what I sold some of my other Stamkos RC cards for. Oh well, at least I hung on to a few of them. I shouldn't be disappointed with the selling price of the one I have up on ebay now.

Hot players make collectors do stupid things. See how high these guys sold for when they got hot Spezza, Kovalchuk, E Staal, Phaneuf, Nash, Price (might be climbing again now) etc....they all dropped significantly since.

Rare rookie cards get hot and cold, its part of the hobby.

I would be sorry for you too if you sold one of your Stamkos ICE RC for 275$ 2 months ago. The card average sale back then was about 500$.

This is my friend here in Rochester who runs the Book store that I get some cards from. He said the buyer paid right away, so he was stoked!

He has had some health problems, so this was a much needed sale.
