THE Niklas Hjalmarsson Super Collector, Verified T
Hey all, hoping this very special day has been and will continue to be enjoyable for you and your families!
While many of you know me as the Niklas Hjalmarsson super collector, there has been a huge hole in my Hjalmarsson PC for over a decade. That hole was finally filled a couple weeks ago, as I crossed off arguably the biggest want of my collection.
Luckily enough, the right opportunity presented itself at the right time, and I could not be happier to have this as the cornerstone of my Hjalmarsson collection!

As soon as he went to the Coyotes, I KNEW I had to have a Kachina style game-worn jersey. Mission accomplished! This absolute beauty was worn in the 2019-20 season beginning in January and running all the way up to the stoppage (was actually worn in Arizona's final home game before the shutdown). While it would be epic to own the jersey from the bubble, this has its own link to history as well, so I cannot complain. It was only worn for a handful of games, so wear is light for sure, but it did see action against premier teams like Tampa Bay, Pittsburgh, and Washington (including multiple photos of Hjalmarsson defending Alex Ovechkin, how cool!) as well as a game against his former mates in Chicago!

Here's some trivia/where's Waldo for you: What is wrong with the jersey? There has been an error on these jerseys ever since the Coyotes brought them back a handful of years ago that has still not been corrected. (SIGH) As a hint, it has to do with design, nothing structural or anything like that. This error is featured on every Kachina jersey over the last handful of years.
Certainly quite the way to top off 2020 for my collection! I of course want/need a Blackhawks game-worn jersey (ideally red or a black alternate) in my collection as well one day, but landing this gorgeous sweater is certainly a huge piece for my collection and is arguably one of my favorite jerseys I own (I own close to 20 game-worn jerseys, most of them being Derek Whitmore).
Thanks for tuning in, and again, a very merry Christmas to you and your families!
