Since my posts are near weekly, I figured I'd tack on a date so I could keep them straight.

Anyway, onto the loot!

A nice representation of the collecting "sickness". I had completelty forgotten about the X-Men movies, since I wasn't that much into non-sport stuff when they came out. So I go searching and start picking up random stuff.

For my Lost S2 set, one of the silliest cards made, in my opinion. But it's on the checklist so I had to have it. Lost Season 2, sand/shirt card. Yeah, I said "sand":

Lastly, the first Kotobukiya figure in my collection, Catwoman. This was about the best angle without it looking like a poor attempt at soft-core porn.

It's only appropriate that my son has some new Batman pajamas. If mommy happens to ask, the Catwoman is for him!

That's a fantastic bunch of cards. I've been taking my first steps in the area too, but I haven't justified spending 150 on the Kotobukiya Wolverine figure yet - did you get yours for the 'market price' or is there somewhere to pick them up slightly cheaper?

The kid is unfortunately a spitting image of me when I was his age, I just hope he grows out of that!

He's already been Chewbacca, an X-Wing Pilot, and Darth Vader (sensing a theme anyone?), so we tried something new with the Dark Knight. We're going to a comic con next month and he's gonna be Gleek, the blue monkey companion of the Wonder Twins. He's going to hate us when he gets old enough!

Julian, the market values are pretty high, as you've seen. The Catwoman is relatively new, so they are going for more reasonable prices (at least moreso than Wolvie). I got it for something like $65, but also had a $35 "coupon" of sorts from PayPal. Makes it a little easier to digest. And a little less dirty considering her more-than-provocative pose...!

Love the resin and the 007 card. Neat to see a piece of prop on a card. Kinda disappointing to see what it is though! LOL The pic of Halle makes up for it!
