I haven't bought a non ITG History of Hockey card in a long time, but Prime got me out of my seat for sure. As I think we can all agree, many of the Prime Colors cards are beautiful. Here are three that I snagged in the last week or so. Sorry for the bad phone camera, but I just moved to LA and my scanner is still in storage.

Like I said in a thread in the Hobby Talk section, I'm a complete sucker for this part of the Flyers logo. Obviously a little more to the right would be perfect, but I'll be content with this one for sure.

When I saw the middle card pop up in my Ebay searches, I knew that there was going to be some major competition for it. I was late to the game in collecting when Selanne Jets' memorabilia was featured in releases like ITG Ultimate so I figure there's not going to be much of it left and when it pops up I had better be ready. After a bit of negotiation with the seller (great addition to HI), we came to an agreement and the card was on it's way. I had to sweat out a mistake on my part with my new zip code, but the card arrived safe and sound. Now I just have to find the other three parts of the Goals For Kids patch.

Lastly, you always have to try and get some big swatches of North Stars memorabilia when you have to, right? The story of Bellows was always interesting, and I still remember the run he had when the North Stars faced off against in the Pens in the Cup Final. It's a cool little piece and I might have to try and grab some more of them, although I know at least one collector that has his sights on them!

Prime Colors has become one of my favorite sets of all time. I have a couple of big ones incoming for my PC as well.

That Jets patch is :jawdrop:

Jeez, Bill, those are supposed to be in MY PC!!

Awesome pickups my friend!
Ding, ding, ding! I knew you were on the lookout, but hoped you would be too busy chasing the elusive salming cards and other vets to even notice. Now if only I can amass enough bellows cards, I might be able to pry a card or two out of your collection! Can't wait to see what you put together from prime...
