Hi,
I've been a pretty big Tino Martinez fan due to some long-standing family relations since I was 10 years old. He got my family tix to Camden Yards the year it opened, and it was fun seeming him emerge as one of the true power threats on the mid-90s.
However, i remember reading a while ago that ESPN listed him as a clubhouse cancer as a member of the Cardinals when ESPN ran an article about the 99 biggest baseball problem players. I had never heard about this, and from what I'd read, players and GMs alike both liked him. Is there another side to this?
