Hello,

I am planning a trip to Chicago at the end of October and I am looking for tips on where to stay and how to find the best tickets for a few Blackhawks games and one Bears game. Looking for a central hotel that is close to restaurants, shopping, museums ect and is in a safe area. Also looking for tickets for the following games:

October 30th Kings vs. Blackhawks

October 31st Bears vs. Vikings

Nov 1st Flames vs Blackhawks

Please let me know :)

Thank You
Connie

Safest place to stay is downtown. It's is the midpoint of both stadiums/arenas. Your best bet on tickets is buy at a price you are comfortable with and buy early. Soldier Field is next to the Field Museum, Shedd Aquarium and Adler Planiterium. The Art Institute is also near the downtown hotels. There are cabs, Ubers and Lyfts everywhere so car rental is not neccesary. If you have any other questions, PM me and I will be glad to assist anyway I can.

I stayed on Michigan Ave. It seemed relatively safe. I've been 3 times now and always stay on that street, it's got lots of shopping and as noted above it's kind of a midway point between all the stadium/arenas. As for tickets, try to get single game seats direct from the team as their won't be any mark up however, I've had lots of good luck with stub hub. Even went the Kings vs Blackhawks game 4 of the Western Conference Final for $100.00. Can't do that in Canada :) Have an awesome trip!
