Hey folks,

I'm planning to make a short trip to NJ area before xmas. It's gonna be my first time at the states and I would really be thankful for any tips I should pay attention to before lift off. Think we'll fly to Newark NJ.

1. Best place to set up hq. With reasonable prices?

2. Transportation? Car rental might be the best option, correct?

3. Tickets? Planning to watch Devils game or two and maybe Philly or Boston?

4. What else? There three of us coming, the date isn't quite set yet...

Thanks in advance!

1. Depends on what you plan to do for the trip - planning to hit NYC?

2. Same as 1. if you are planning to go into NYC - taking the PATH train is advisable. Elsewhere, car is doable, but make sure you have a GPS

3. Tix in Newark should be fine - don't know about elsewhere.

I think NYC is a must since we are so close.

Looking a place to stay from NJ area?? I think it's a bit cheaper there than in NY? Im I right.

NJ would be a bit cheaper, but if you plan on staying in NYC on the weekend, some hotels are quite a bit cheaper on the weekend in NYC than during the busy week.

There's a hotel that I've stayed at in Jersey City during the week - good rates, about a block from the PATH station. That being said - if you're going to be in NYC - the weekend is a good time to do it when there are no business travelers and you get a better rate.

Devils tickets are pretty easy to get, last year I bought 5 tickets all together not even 2 months before the game and they are pretty cheap

Hey folks,

A few extra Q's before we hit the road.

1. Is the Prudential will call counter open other than game days and where it's located?

2. And how about Devils Den? Open other than game days?

I'm getting sooooooo exciiiiiiiiiiiiiiited!
