03/04 Honor Roll #SC20 Bobby Orr "Signature Class" autograph #/10
ORR10.jpg

It is for my set, and not for trade. This is only the second Orr to be seen that I know of. Phantomkid has the other one. I now have the 2 biggest cards in the set out of the way (Gretzky #/10 & Orr #/10).

Jay and Trevor,
I really appreciate the PM's about the card. It makes me feel good that you guys decided to PM me instead of emailing the seller to end it early and then try to stick it to me :D

I guess I need to start selling a few things off, huh? :)

Thanks for looking!
Mike

Wow!!!! Wow!!!! Wow!!! I know that is a huge amount of coin for a card but doing the set it is actually a steal. Maybe I can help you with this set as well.

Thanks

Well... the thought crossed my mind, but then I realized you wouldn't have any cards available at my $10,000 trade value asking price. :D Just kidding.

Glad I could help you out... when another snot-nosed brat sure wouldn't.

Mike, That's awesome. You and those ultra rare, hard to find auto sets. I don't know how you do it. Most people would never even attempt these sets, and you are knocking them off. Which cards do you still need? Just so we all can keep an eye out for ya. ;) Mike

Mike

Sweet Bejeesus!!!

Yet another pick up outta Edmonton. It would appear that Edmonton is going to be the source of your hard to find cards...

Anywho. As has already been stated. Yes, it's nearing that time for a new signature! :D However, seeing as I was instrumental in completing this sig. I'll be saddened... :(

LOL All kidding aside.

A very nice addtion.

Here's hoping that Mo takes care of your order and not Jim! LOL

Congrats and thanks for sharing!

John,
Thanks! I would take the Canadian tax over the California state tax though. :)

Ken,
Thanks and any help with the set is appreciated!

Jay,
I know you are kidding, lol. There aren't many of those people in the hobby, but they do exist unfortunatly. I like to think these boards are pretty clean of them.

Trevor,
Thanks again! I'll do a new sig as soon as I finish the set. But the avitar will stay, Keira goes nowhere! :D

Mike,
Thanks! The problem is I have a tendency to do what I need to do to complete the sets as fast as I can, which starts getting old. So I find myself making harder challenges with rarer sets or bigger sets. These are the ones I still need...

Mike:
Are those the print runs??? If so you need all the help you can get!!!! Wow this is going to be toughie.

Thanks
Ken

Ken,
LOL! Yeah, those are the print runs  I'll have 3 of the #/10 when the Orr gets to me (Gretzky, Orr, and Kovalchuk).

Mike

Once you get past Roy and Brodeur, the rest should be a breeeeeeeeze. :D

Heck... you'll probably finish this set off before I get my paws on the stupid Yashin that I need.

Mike, Do you have any idea what % of this product sold. The reason I ask is that if only half was broken then the set may be even tougher than you think. Not trying to be negative, just a thought. You may want to ask around to see if anyone knows how well the product sold. I hope for your sake it sold out. ;) Mike

I broke one pack of this stuff, if it can help lol

I guess we could start a new category for Mike. How about Extreme Collecting :)

Very nice pick-up, and I agree with Brian, let's hope Moe handles the deal ;)

and to think I was Upset After I paid $480 For the Leetch COO Happy :D and
Mad  at the same time thats just one card.you got a a bunch to go will keep a look out for you

and did Chris (Vegaspuck) tell you the Adult Expo is next weekend  supposed to be better then Last years :D

Steve

Mike,

Nice pickup. I think the price was pretty good. I sold an Orr ITGUSS Gold Auto /10 for $400 US a few months back and that product was almost entirely ripped. There are probably a lot still wrapped up in packs. Good job.

Darren

Jay,
I wouldn't call this set a breeze, lol. This is the hardest set I've tried to complete, by far. They just don't show up very often.

Mike,
I have no idea how much was broken, but I don't think it was a whole lot. The local shop had a box of it when it came out and it sat on the shelf for 5 months before someone bought it. I kicked myself for not buying it though. Larry pulled the Bertuzzi "Signature Class" auto #/24, Fleury "Dean's list" jersey/RC, and Lemieux jersey out of the one box. I couldn't believe his luck.

Odjickfan,
Did you pull an auto in the pack? :D

Glenn,
Thanks, I like that "extreme collecting" HMMMMM... :D BTW, any word on the Gretzky/Staal yet?

Kevin,
Thanks! I just love that card in your sig!

Steve,
NO! Chris didn't mention it to me (shakes fist at Chris). Now I'm broke and can't make it next weekend  You know, I've got priorities, I may have passed up on the BIN on the card if I had known :D Maybe I can drive up for the day or something.

I've spent about $1100 between just the Gretzky and Orr :eek::eek:

Darren,
Thanks and I agree on the price. It was very fair. That's why I didn't even hesitate to grab it.

Thanks,
Mike
