Just heard Curt was in the new beckett, so i ran out about 5 minutes ago to pick it up. I havent read it yet, as im not that far in the issue, but as im flipping through I see the sweet swatches section, and who should have some cards showcased, but Mr. Lionel Hsu (megatron) with a couple of RIDICULOUS signature sticks... VERY NICE GUYS! Not sure if anyone else is in this issue, but i'll see if i can find anymore!

Just wondering, how many cards are in that signature sticks set anyways?

Just read the article... very well written Curt!! Nice to see people helping each other out.... also love the Title, although i obviously wasnt around when they were, im a huge Beatles buff, and gots tons of memorabilia and what not

It is pretty fun to see some of our cards in the Beckett.

I did the Beckett Sweet Swatches in the one with the Yzerman retirement cover. :D

vegaspuck cards are often in the Beckett. At least, they were. I don't buy the Beckett as often as before.
 
Just found a couple of others... haha.. one is Bruce, meatiecgy, where he is described as "setting his snipes to puch the limits of reason" haha.... another is weaselking and Vinny- Meth68 each with a couple quotes in it.

oh, and cant forget Quicy, whos in there a coupla times too

If you havent picked up this issue, i recommend it, dont often buy one, but this one is quite enjoyable

Methinks Al Muir will be putting in a comment in next month's issue about the way I was portrayed in the BOMB... ;)
 
I pmed Curt giving him the 2 thumbs up..about being in beckett.. and he was saying he hoped that his copy would be in the mail that day. .and it wasnt and curiosty was burning him.. so he messaged me to scan the pages for him and send them to him.. hehe... I think im going to send my copy to him to get auto'd *grin*

I still think it's funny that Al is so busy he has to fill up two pages of editorial comment with cut and paste from the message board. Really, aren't the 100 or so of us on the board the same 100 that buy the mag? ;)

Ah, I'm just jealous 'cuz I haven't been in in over a year.

I used to be in there almost every month about 6 or 7 years ago. Alas, the fall from fame.:rolleyes: LOL

Ya, no kidding. You can only put so much Blake and Mets stuff in one place before the unholiness of it causes a rip in the fabric of space and time.
