I'm referring to the rainbow gold foil - which requires you to turn in 5 silver foil's to make one, exclusively on ePack (25 base set YGs total). I don't think the McDavid YG rainbow gold foil has been made. And I know of only one Matthews Rainbow gold foil.
The silver foils are under appreciated for a reason, they are typically worth less than the 5 base set YGs required to make one. I think people had realized this with McDavid, which might explain why there are fewer Matthew's silver foil YGs.
Just FYI:
- the BGS pop report for McDavids' silver foil YG shows a total of 128: 8 BGS 10s, 114 BGS 9.5s
- The rainbow gold foil YG is not in the pop report for McD
- the BGS pop report for Matthews' silver foil YG shows a total of 9: 1 BGS 10, 8 BGS 9.5
- The rainbow gold foil YG for Matthews is pop 1 (BGS 9.5). I knew the previous owner of this card.
