Toronto Monthly Card Show - Sunday, August 13th

Just a heads up that the Toronto Monthly Card Show will be presenting it's fifth show of the year this coming Sunday, August 13th at Leaside Gardens.

In The Game, Inc. will be there with previews of their baseball and basketball editions of the National Treasures framed photos (all tiers will be on display), as well as displaying some of the game worn prizes from the Ultimate Memorabilia Redemption Program.

Hourly draws will be provided once again by In The Game, Inc. (Update sets of 05/06 ITG H&P), Beckett Media, Beckett Grading Services, Canadian Sports Collector and KSA Grading.

The FAN590 and Amsterdam Beer (along with the Amsterdam Beer Girls!) will be at our show once again, and for those who were in attendance at the July 9th show (and are of legal drinking age), we hope you enjoyed your free six pack courtesy of Amsterdam Beer and the FAN590. Just wanted to comment on your article in last month's Beckett mag, which I only got to read this weekend now that those bums finally delivered it (grrrrrr...). It was a very interesting piece. I thought the way Dr. Price stepped to the fore for a hobbyist to take something like this on (after all, it ain't like you were doing it around here, where hockey's an afterthought) was just very, very cool. Not just saying "we'll come," but sitting with you to discuss the project and even providing ideas? Dr. Price didn't just provide a new promoter with some instant cred (for the hobbyists you HAVEN'T dealt with, Ryan), but simulataneously did its own brand proud. I can almost see UD doing the same thing (not!).

The bride and I have discussed a trip to the HOF in the relative near future, so assuming you're still going great guns, I'll see ya then!

There will be no guest this month...it was tough getting in contact with anyone, as most guys are on their vacation/getaway before training camp starts. We're working on someone for September though...
