Toronto Monthly Card Show, Sunday June 18th, 2006 - Leaside Gardens

Apparently, I missed Kevin by a matter of seconds (according to Joe), but had a great conversation with a dealer in a Blue Jays cap, as well as bashing SPA and Upper Deck itself with another dealer. Would have liked a little more Mike Richards pieces at the show, as I was carrying around some hefty tradebait, but nothing caught my eye.

Looking forward to the next show and hopefully being able to spend more than an hour and a half there.
Thanks guys for putting in all the time and effort to make these happen.

ahh..wait a second..were you hte guy carrying around the box with enough spa auto patches to buy a house? lol. i bumped into you then at igor's table =)

I wish, I was the guy walking around like a zombie still tired from playing in a baseball tournament for 12 hours in 40 degree heat on Saturday...we're thinking about getting shirts that distinguish who we are at the show so people can pick us out.

I was hung over and operating on about 2 hours sleep, but still had a good time talking to people at the show and picking up some things to finish sets. Was really surprised to see Freshers come all the way from London for the show!

I must say I had a blast at the show. The gentlemen did another great job running things and were free long enough to come around and socialize which was nice.

Wes - I was the dealer in the jays cap. It was good chatting with you and good luck getting your hands on that plate we were speaking of. If I can be of any help, just let me know.

I've said this before but for anybody in the area who is passing on the show for some reason, you need to come and check it. Great dealers, amazing cards and good times.

This show was my favorite. This time we had a chance to walk around and check out the cards and talk with the dealers. It was great to see the big turnout and even more fun to chat with some members from the site. I'm looking forward to the next one. The best part of the next one is its only 20 Days away!
