Hey whats up,
I have found about 200 comics in storage, I'm not into collecting anymore I'm not sure if they are recycling bin material or worth trying to move. Various years, various titles - is it anything like cards? Stuff from the late 80s and 90s is basically garbage??

No offence (trust me, lots of people say it) but I hate when people say things like "recycling bin material" or "I will just throw them out if no one wants them."

Ughhh.... I am a huge comic fan and collector and that is sacreligious to me!

If no one wants them, give them to a young kid... maybe a younger cousin, a co-workers kid, or youngster down the street from ya, whatever. Let them enjoy the beauty of comics and who knows, maybe you just created a super fan :)

I once read that a current comic creater (can't remember who) purposely leaves comic books on busses and at cafes and whatever so that other people may stumble upon them. He's hoping to spread the word and create new fans. I think that is a great idea! I have thousands upon thousands of comics and every now and then I dig through em, take out 25-50 and give them to some co-workers kids. They send me thank you cards and my co-workers always tell me how happy they are to receive them.

It's better to give than to toss :)

Okay, thanks. Unfortunately, I wouldn't just walk up to some kid(s) and start giving things away that just shouts trouble. lol I don't ride the bus, so that leaves that idea out too. And the only co-worker I have is Wayne (the Icebox) so leaves that option out too. lol I like Steve's suggestion - never thought of the library option! Thanks again. So if the thread got to ya Dredjaw I wasn't intended. ;)
