I got a scanner for christmas, and this is my first time (really) using it. I realise it does a "best guess" as to where the document starts. I haven't been able to figure out how to adjust it yet, so the scans get cut off a little, even tho I am aligning the items as per the lines around the glass. I am no stranger to copiers, but I don't know what those lines are called. Anyways, you don't get to see a pic of my scanner but here are some cards:
I'm (really) thinking of changing my ways of collecting hockey, but not sure what to do with my PC. I am thinking of doing a collection of autos and GUs for Coyotes. Zhamnov is in my PC to stay for sure, so is Joel Ward. As for football, I'm not quite sure. I'm at the point where I like a couple of teams (Bills, Falcons) but I am not sure whether my enjoyment of them justifies collecting their cards. So these scans coming are in a transition phase for me. As far as Baseball, I'm doing sets. The only set I've put aside is 2007 Bowman Chrome, but everything else gets sorted into boxes for now.
Here you can see a Gold Parkhurst Zhamnov, which is numbered /10. I did not know this when I bought it, so its a good surprise.
This scan shows the back of the Gold Parkhurst Zhamnov. There is also an UD Zhamnov insert in here that is die cut. I have this card already but the one I got today had two of the stars still attached to the card. I don't know if you can tell by the picture, but the Paul Mara GU is 3 colors.
Here's the last bunch. Nothing special. I also had not realised at the time of purchase that two of the Coyotes autos in these scans were buy-back releases.
