TUF 10 Coaches Announced.

It surprises me that Rampage would pass up the title shot to take on Rashad Evans... Oh well, it'll be a great fight :D

I don't believe that they're going to be fighting each other at the end. There's no mention of it in the story. So far as I know Rampage is still going to take on Lyoto.

It makes sense, Jackson is hurt, or else he wouldn't even be in TUF. So he doesn't want to come back off injury into a title fight. Also Machida will likely fight before December, and he possibly won't be ready to fight again by December.

I don't necessasarily buy this rationale. In the mmaweekly article he talks about the grudge match being more important to him right now than a title shot. I've seen and read a lot of interviews from Rampage, and in all of those nothing has been more important to him than having a title and making as much money as possible (which comes from being champion). To me it reads as though he doesn't want to face Machida. Rampage was offered his choice, which means if he'd wanted to fight Machida, Machida would have been the other coach, and thus not fought until December.
To me the only possible challenger right now that they could pass as a pontential number 1 contender is Shogun. I'm sure he wouldn't pass on the chance to become the UFC champ like Rampage has done.

Maybe, I know he wanted Rashad. I just can't see Rampage being scared of anyone, especially Machida. I mean after the brutal beatings at the hands on Wand he kept fighting him. Dude isn't scared of anyone. There has to be some reason QJ isn't fighting, and that reason isn't because he is scared.
