UD Black Pushed Back a Month

UD Black won't be coming out tomorrow. it will now be coming out on October 6th. Once again, another UD Delay.

What RC's? They can't release cards of players until after they've played an NHL game. It will be the same bunch of scrubs we saw in Victory and Ultra plus redemptions for the guys that play in a game after Oct. 1st. I don't really think 5 days is realistic unless they plan on releasing cards of guys they think will make a roster.

It's pretty safe to assume that most products with hard signed autos are not gonna hit the prelim. release date. I am in no rush, I'd prefer minimal redemptions.... Mike

A delay is a good thing in today's card world. It means less redemptions and it means that UD cares about this. A delay is not good for their cash flow so by pushing out the release, they are proving that they do care about the collector.

If you complain about redemptions, don't complain about pushing back a release date. And vice versa.

You can blast UD for their redemption process, for photo shoot worn crap, for crap CS and QA and you can blast them for pathetic swap outs...they don't, however, deserve to be blasted for delaying a product to get as much content in it as they can. Good on them for it.

Well they certainly did not relay that message to the distributors.... or stores.

I show up after 3 days in Barrie to find cases of 1972 sitting here but no Black. Distributor left me a message on Tuesday night it was delayed and not sure for how long.

I've been dying to get some Black, but it would be nice if the delay allows them to put actual rookie cards in instead of redemptions. Go Tavares!
