Ohhhhh, yeah! A redemption from UD in my mailbox today!!

Wait a second, what is that shiny thing near the top of the envelope? A staple?

SERIOUSLY!?!?

OK, I can't help but laugh. I plan to call Upper Deck tomorrow, I assume they will replace in this case. I've had a bent card through the mail here and there, but a staple? Through my Shattenkirk? What can you do? I guess stuff happens. Please do not turn this into a bash UD thread, I posted just so you all could get a chuckle.

I don't blame UD, they just wanted to make sure that the card didn't get separated from the envelope if by chance the enveloped teared open. They probably got tired of people complain, "I got the package but the envelope was open and the card was missing" complaints.

I know how much everyone loves to bash them - but really do you think UD would actually put a staple through a bag that they seal?? My bets are on the idiots at the Post Office and not UD. It was probably opened in the sorting process and instead of taping it like they normally do - someone had the bright idea to staple it.

Haha, I got my Shatty yesterday too. It was in a toploader that was three sizes too big. So maybe they figured the staple would hold yours in...
