UD Redemption Replacement, Need your help and opinions!

So about 4 weeks ago I put in a request to have my Erik Johnson Hot Prospects Auto/Patch replaced. They did their usual spiel of give us players and a team and we'll see what we can do... Fast forward to today, the package arrives with one rather thick card in the pack. I'm not sure what to think of this as a replacement, yes it WAS a habs player but he's pictured in Rangers uni (Guy Lafleur) its a nice 3 clr patch and the card is flawless (05-06 Ult). So how do you guys think i did?

Now heres where I need your help, i went to look up the value of the Lafleur in my latest Beckett, it lists the card number EE-GL but has the name Eric Staal EXCH next to it, is this just a typo seeing as how Staal is also listed a few lines earlier?

Any help and comments would be appreciated, hope to have a scan up soon.

Is this a Cup 05-06 Endorsed Emblems Guy Lafleur? If it is...you did great. I don't believe the Lafleur was part of the original checklist. You could easily dish that Lafleur out and get the Erik Johnson you wanted in the first place.

I am assuming the card you have is the 2005-06 UD Ultimate "Endorsed Emblems" Guy Lafleur card. If so, I think you did well...considering Erik Johnson being out for the year, being a defenseman, and the fact that Guy is a HOFer...and the jersey patch is real and not a photoshoot like Johnson's would have been.

I say "You did very well!!!" :beer: My opinion.........

i'd rather have a 3-clr auto patch /35 of a HOFer from UD Ultimate than a ?-clr auto patch /199? of an injured RC (from last year) from Hot Prospects.

I'd keep it......nice patch and auto of a HOF'er /35. I'd trade you a Johnson Hot Prospects rookie in a second for the Lafleur. (If I had one that is)

Curt- you read my mind, i was thinking the same thing, in fact the day I put in for the replacement is the day the press article came out about Johnson being out for the season, it seems like it was divine intervention and I think i made the right call.
