UD1 Box Break Who Forgot to Add the Ink?

Had a nice break of UD Series 1... well almost.

First pack I pulled had me excited...
David Jones - Signature Sensations

Inserts pulled...
Captains Calling - Koivu and Sakic
Hat Trick Heroes - Hossa and Ovechkin
Soph Sensations - Gagner
Hockey Heroes - Crosby 7 and 8
Winter Highlights - Letang WC5

Jerseys of Guerin (blue) and Tanguay (red)

Now on to the young guns. Pulled a total of 7 which made me happy. Only problem is the silver stamp on the front didn't take, so I can see the impression of Young Guns and the UD Symbol at the top but no Silver :|
What a beating. Well one did have the Silver since it was an UD Exclusive.

Called Upper Deck today and they said to wait until they get their allotment of replacements before sending them for replacement. Check back in a couple of weeks. :| :| :|
 
send in your cards for replacement right away and do it with some form of tracking. you're better off sending them in early and getting on line for a replacement than waiting a few weeks only to have UD call you and tell you they're out of stock already despite what you were previously told.
 
I'll go ahead and send them in right away. no sense in waiting. They did offer me a couple of packs for my trouble instead of a replacement. Sorry 6 bad young guns won't be resolved with some Power Play packs.
 
Cards only worth the cardboard they were printed on with these defects. Dropping them in the mail this week. We'll see what happens
