Just curious what you guys think? I collect Brendan Ranford and am checking COMC regularly and haven't seen a foil yet. Anyone have any idea?

It was the same for my guy's YG foil. I would say people are keeping the cards on the e-pack, because they have more value there if they are used for trading (virtually anything that makes it to comc.com sells for peanuts). I would recommend sending a message to the users who have the card you want on e-pack and offer a deal.

Series 1 was used for the beta test, and I think foils were part of the incentives.

The bolded statement is 100% true. For Series 1, a lot of people transferred their stuff to COMC and were kicking themselves when trading was introduced. So I bet a ton of Series 2 ePack is sitting on ePack to be used as gold bars for trading on there.

I'd say more people are holding onto foils for S2 since the announcement of the S1 and S2 sets being redeemed for that McDavid special card.

Totally the case. Cards that can be physically exchanged are valuable within the ePack trading community--you can still turn some of those S1 inserts into other things on the platform that will ultimately have value. Much better option than cashing out to COMC where you can't sell a Shining Stars for a quarter anymore.

That was announced originally way back when Series 1 was out months before the ePacks Series 2 release.
