some high level bjj guys on the card, especially the preliminary card. interested to see if oliveira can carry on his submission tear.

WAR GSP!

I hope George takes his time while commiting murder on Koscheck. I usually don't care who wins a fight as long as it's not a blanket match but Koschech needs a broken body for at least 6 months . That is all hahaha

Not a huge main card; but with this main event they don't need one. I am interested in seeing the Alves/Howard, and Miller/Oliveira. But this card will rise and fall on the GSP/Kos fight. I concur with the WAR GSP sentiments. I also hope to get to see the Bocek/McLovin' fight.

OK, always the same folks here. I personally cannot wait for Josh to punch GSP straight in the mouth. There are some sick fights this card. Fights I really want to see are bold.

Alves/Howard fight is gonna be stupid crazy..................Alves with a ridiculous KO.

Originally, gotta say I wasn't a fan of McCorkle's because:

a) He beat Mark Hunt
b) He shares the same nickname as Kevin Nash

But after reading up more about him and seeing all the bull**** he's been through in the last couple years, I've become more and more of a fan. I personally think he's going to smash Struve a 4th lip (considering Struve grew a 3rd lip during the Morecraft fight) ... Struve's weakness is heavy hitters...he's taken 3 pretty bad beatings in his UFC career (JDS, Nelson, Morecraft) and with the exception of the Morecraft fight where I personally think he got lucky because he threw Morecraft off his game and caused him to lose his temper (kicking Morecraft while they were touching gloves to start the 2nd round,) has had no answer. I don't see Struve making it out of the first round if he continues to keep his hands down and his defensive stance open.

Gonna be awful tough for Josh to punch GSP in the face when he's on his back the whole fight.

Can't wait for tonight. Gonna be ordering it with some friends instead of watching it at a sports bar as usual.
In Montreal its impossible to get seats at a sports bar for GSP fights.

Hope GSP gives Kosh a beating the way he gave a beatdown to BJ Penn.

GSP -550, Koscheck +350.

Most slanted UFC betting line EVER.

That's probably the craziest betting line I've ever seen for a title fight. I wonder if the odds were similar for St. Pierre/Serra though since there weren't a lot of people that gave Matt Serra a chance.

Not the craziest line for a UFC fight in general though. Crocop/Manic Hispanic was -1200/+800 for Crocop. Eddie Sanchez was 6-0 going into that fight with 4 first round stoppages as well.

Krotchsniff pounded like a common street walker on a Saturday night. Josh really needs to just shut up and train instead of acting like a retarded frat boy.

Yea just got off the phone with a buddy that just watched the fight. Koschech really had no business even being in a cage with GSP. Kos is a bum and got what he deserved.

Yeah, it was that bad. The only thing Josh did well was prevent the take downs. Luckily, the feed I had didn't lag once. Was a good night. I expected to have a lot of issues watching it online due to it being a GSP fight.

Wow, didn't think GSP would take him apart on the stand up.

I'll give Koscheck credit. He didn't quit, and he was game on the ground. Seemed like he was hoping for the home run swing the whole way. He simply ran into a superior fighter.

Would you bet against him Jai? Especially when he beat the guy pretty comfortably the first go around?

Not saying that AT ALL.

Point is, in any event where 1 lucky shot can make a heavy favourite fold hard, the betting line had ZERO value in it. -550 was too heavy a line, and Vegas KNEW Kos had no chance... and they had to get the money off of GSP.

Great night of fights. I was right in presuming that the GSP/Koscheck fight would go the distance. Still can't stand Koscheck, but he is tough. The Miller and Bocek submissions were beautiful, and the Danzig knockout was unexpectedly brutal.

My one issue was with the awarding of the 100K Fight of the Night Bonus. They let the fans decide on ufc.com and they selected the Main Event. I think that it was pretty clear that the Sean Pierson/Matt Riddle was really the fight of the night. And it would have been nice for two guys who aren't making big money to have gotten 100K each, but like Dana always says don't leave it in the hands of the judges; don't leave those types of decisions in the hands of the fans.

Yup. When the day comes that someone catches GSP, someone's gonna make stupid money.
