It's about that time. I was starting to have withdrawal issues, going a couple weeks without a UFC card, I mean Bellator can only sustain me so much.

Main Card
B.J. Penn (No. 9 WW) vs. Nick Diaz (No. 5 WW)
Cheick Kongo vs. Matt Mitrione
Hatsu Hioki vs. George Roop
Mirko Filipovic vs. Roy Nelson
Jeff Curran vs. Scott Jorgensen

Spike TV
Dennis Siver vs. Donald Cerrone
Bart Palaszewski vs. Tyson Griffin

Facebook Fights
Brandon Vera vs. Eliot Marshall
Daniel Downes vs. Ramsey Nijem
Francis Carmont vs. Chris Camozzi
Dustin Jacoby vs. Clifford Starks

Heading to Vegas Friday morning, I'll be at the UFC supporting my buddy Showdown Joe, since GSP won't be fighting, nothing really to root for :badmood:

Everyone but Tyson Griffin made weight, he did not look good. Guess that second cut down to 145lbs. did not go well.

B.J. Penn (169) vs. Nick Diaz (170)
Cheick Kongo (234) vs. Matt Mitrione (255)
Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic (235) vs. Roy Nelson (252.5)
Scott Jorgensen (135) vs. Jeff Curran (134)
Hatsu Hioki (145) vs. George Roop (145)
Donald Cerrone (156) vs. Dennis Siver (155)
Tyson Griffin (*149) vs. Bart Palaszewski (146)
Brandon Vera (205) vs. Eliot Marshall (204)
Ramsey Nijem (155) vs. Daniel Downes (155)

Dustin Jacoby (185) vs. Clifford Starks (186)

Go Curran........I hope he stomps Scotty Jorg.

Pretty good card. I'm not upset at all about the GSP fight not happening. I'd rather watch any of these fights over his.

I don't disagree with you; however, I really don't see it happening. I think it's going to be a one-sided beat down put on by Jorgensen. Apparently Curran was given a list of fighters to choose from, and picked Scott, seems a bit odd, but we'll see if it pays off for him.

Cannot stand Jorgensen......liked him before but now I'm not a fan.

Did Sherdog mess up? here are their scores for the Unanimous decision for Cheick Kongo...

Round 1...
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-10
Mike Whitman scores the round 10-9 Mitrione
Freddie DeFreitas scores the round 10-10

Round 2...
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Mitrione
Mike Whitman scores the round 10-9 Mitrione
Freddie DeFreitas scores the round 10-9 Mitrione

Round 3...
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Kongo (29-29 Draw)
Mike Whitman scores the round 10-9 Kongo (29-28 Mitrione)
Freddie DeFreitas scores the round 10-9 Kongo (29-29 Draw)

With those scores, should Mitrione not have won the fight? 2 judges score the fight a draw, and one scores it for Meathead. I'm not watching the show, so I don't know is Sherdog wrote it wrong or what.

Edit...
Mmaweekly is reporting these are the judges scores...
The judges score the fight 30-27, 30-28, 29-28 for Cheick Kongo by unanimous decision.

What scores are correct? (I'm assuming Mmaweekly since it would reflect the decision)

The scores from sherdog are staffers who score the bouts themselves, not representative of the actual judging. Most of the time when there are disparities in judging the unofficial scorers seem to be more on point.

edit: That would have been a majority draw anyways, but again those weren't the official scores on sherdog.

$75K to Diaz/Penn Fight of the Night, Cerrone Submission of the Night, Palaszewski Knockout of the Night.

Diaz has been given the title shot over Condit during the press conference. Diaz once again shows how much of a classless punk he is post fight.

Hahaha! Thanks. I should have read the judges names first and I would have known. I was only looking at the scores and trying to figure out how it could be called a unanimous decision. never payed attention to the judges names.
