For the first time since 2006 the Undisputed Welterweight Championship will be up for grabs without GSP as one of the combatants. This is a very welterweight heavy fight card. Interested to see how it all turns out.

Main Card Bouts (on Pay-Per-View):
Johny Hendricks (15-2; #1 Welterweight) vs. Robbie Lawler (22-9; #3 Welterweight)
Carlos Condit (29-7; #2 Welterweight) vs. Tyron Woodley (12-2; #10 Welterweight)
Diego Sanchez (24-6) vs. Myles Jury (13-0)
Jake Shields (29-6-1, 1 NC; #6 Welterweight) vs. Hector Lombard (33-4-1, 1 NC)
Ovince St. Preux (14-5) vs. Nikita Krylov (16-3)

Preliminary Bouts (on FOX Sports 1):
Kelvin Gastelum (7-0) vs. Rick Story (16-7)
Raquel Pennington (4-3) vs. Jessica Andrade (10-3)
Dennis Bermudez (12-3) vs. Jimy Hettes (11-1)
Sean Spencer (11-2) vs. Alex Garcia (11-1)

Preliminary Bouts (on UFC Fight Pass):
Renee Forte (8-3) vs. Francisco Trevino (11-0)
Will Campuzano (13-5) vs. Justin Scoggins (8-0)
Bubba McDaniel (21-7) vs. Sean Strickland (13-0)
Daniel Pineda (18-10) vs. Robert Whiteford (10-2)

Mke Dolce blames a faulty scale:

* Hendricks originally weighed in at 171.5 pounds but made weight on his second try. Gastelum successfully hit his mark on the third attempt. Forte failed to make weight and will forfeit 20 percent of his purse.

It makes me laugh how Woodley acts like he deserves the next shot, he didnt beat Condit so much as Condit's body beat himself. Condit would have wore him down and won the fight in the end. Woodley does not have cardio to hang with the better WWs. He has to get them early or he gases, badly at that.

I don't but the he didn't beat Condit. It's the same as people saying Weidman didn't beat Silva back in December. Condit's knee injury occurred when Woodley took him down. He was in control of the fight and in my opinion does deserve credit for the W.

As for who the next title challenger will be unless the UFC wants to book an immediate rematch between Hendricks and Lawler there doesn't seem to be anyone who is objectively more deserving of a title shot than Woodley. He can probably talk up the fight pretty good too.
