Another really good fight! I had picked Sanchez to get the win and I actually scored the card 29-28 for Diego, but the judges saw it differently. Still a great fight!
Mauricio Rua Vs Forrest Griffin
Griffin via Rear Naked Choke at 4:45 of round 3
I wouldn't call this one a shocker because of the number of recent upsets over Pride fighters. I picked Shogun to win, but I also gave Forrest a good chance to win. I definetly didn't think Forrest would choke Shogun out like that.
Chuck Liddell Vs Keith Jardine

Ok, now this was the shocker of the night! I never thought Jardine would pick Chuck apart like that! The first round could have gone either way to me, but the second and third rounds definetly went to Keith Jardine. I agreed with Joe Rogan with the thinking the second round could have been a 10-8 round in favor of Jadine. Liddell was dominated in the second and I would hate to know what his left side is going to feel like tomorrow. There is now way that should have been a Split Decision!
Now what's next for Liddell? If he had gotten the win, he would face Wanderlei Silva in December. I still think this match should happen next for the both of them. both fighters are comming of back to back losses and both fighters were light heavyweight champions of their respective orginizations. It still makes sense to have the fight in December.
