UFC and WEC Merge

This is awesome. Effective January 1, 2011. It will begin with Jose Aldo as the co-main event on the January 1 UFC 125 card. Good luck winning another fight of the night bonus Chris Lytle. I did not expect this to come so quickly; however, I am not going to complain. I'm happy for all of the fighters as well that will be fighting for much bigger purses now.

Definetly good for the sport. Very interested to see how the WEC lightweights like Henderson, Cerrone, Varner, etc stack up against the top UFC guys. Love the lighter weight classes as these guys usually just brawl. Having Aldo and Cruz fight on UFC cards is cool too. Best of both worlds if you ask me, like you said the WEC guys have a shot at making some serious cash now.

UFC cards just got way better. I'd much rather watch a Urijah Faber fight than some of the crud that finds it's way onto PPV
