At the press conference for the Fox card today Dana White made a couple of interesting announcements; first Ronda Rousey will defend her Bantamweight title against Liz Carmouche in the headliner of UFC 157 in Anaheim with Dan Henderson and Lyoto Machida in the co-main event. Also he just said that GSP wants to fight Nick Diaz next, so that's the fight they are going to do next for him.

Rousey headlining a PPV? I get that's she's butt whopping eye candy, but there's nobody within a country mile of her. Only question is if we get past 90 seconds before she snaps someone else's arm.

GSP/Diaz I would much rather see than GSP/Silva.

I would rather see GSP/Hendricks, or GSP/Silva before GSP/Diaz.

And as for Ronda I don't think that it's the best move to put her in a headlining PPV spot out the gate, but they have a really strong co-main, and a really good feature fight in Faber/Menjivar to try and insulate Rousey. I don't know if the fight gets past 90 seconds, but Liz Carmouche is a former marine and I don't know if she'll tap, so we may see another snap, crackle, and pop.
