In the span of a couple of hours Jose Aldo (foot), Rampage Jackson (unknown) have withdrawn from the Main Event and Co-Main Event of UFC 153 in Brazil. Wow.

They better hope they can pull Rashad in to fight Glover or that show is completely screwed.

Also announced this afternoon Vladdy pulled out of his fight with Hamill at 152after tearing his achilles.

The latest in the always vague rumor mill entails:

-Anderson Silva vs. Wanderlei Silva at Light Heavyweight
-Anderson Silva vs. Thiago Silva at Light Heavyweight
-Chael Sonnen vs. Wanderlei Silva at a 195 lb catchweight
-Frankie Edgar vs. Urijah Faber (Faber offered his services at Featherweight)
-Frankie Edgar to be taken off 153 altogether
-Glover T (SUCKAAAA) vs. Lyoto Machida (unlikely)
-Glover T (SUCKAAAA) vs. Chael Sonnen at Light Heavyweight
-Glover T (SUCKAAAA) vs. Stephan Bonnar (this was the fight I said on a podcast last night that made the most sense to me to book Glover T (SUCKAAAA) into)

The two fighters that seem to be getting thrown around liberally here are Anderson Silva and Lyoto Machida. We'll see what happens.

Officially, Big Nog vs. Dave Herman has been added to UFC 153 for the main card. It bumps up on the card just above Fitch/Erick Silva before the main/co-main

This is the rumor that seems like is the closest to coming to fruition for a headliner.

I think that the Bonnar fight is the only one with even a chance of happening. Chael/Glover is even less likely than Lyoto/Glover.

It will be interesting to see how this shakes out. In a way the UFC is lucky because this card is taking place in Brazil; and there will be lots of fighters looking to step up and fight in their home country.
