This is the biggest, most important event in the history of the UFC. I am so excited for this event that I can hardly contain it. I am interesting in seeing if any of the new grapics, and layout begins with this card, or if all of that is being held back until January.

The undercard is packed full of amazing fights, and I will be glued to my computer screen all afternoon. Am I a little down that the Henderson/Guida fight won't be broadcast, yes. However, I don't believe that I am going to be let down by Cain and JDS.

We've never seen dos Santos hurt before, while Cain got knocked down a few times by Kongo. Will JDS be able to catch the champ? Will Cain's wrestling rule the day? I don't know the answer to either of these questions but I can't wait to find out the answers on Saturday.

A reminder that the Fox broadcast will be at 9EST, 6 Pacific. So as not to be overshadowed by the Pacquiao/Marquez trilogy.

Are you sure about Bendo/Guida Dave? The information seems to be conflicting day in/day out. One day Fox is airing it, another day it isn't.

Jon was saying that Spanish Fuel TV IS airing it, but I heard Fox would be too, but man, this whole broadcast thing has been a mess.

Matt, Jon is right, the Spanish fox channel will show Henderson/Guida and Porier/Garza (last time I heard anyways).

Two days till I leave, can't wait!

And the last I had heard Matt, Dana said that whether the Cain/JDS fight went the full five rounds or lasted 30 seconds they weren't going to air any other fights on the card. However, I would not be surprised to see the Henderson/Guida fight if the main event did end quickly.

Maybe Sportsnet will be airing the prelims too?

Just checked Sportsnet's web site no prelims. And only Sportsnet 1 is airing it live, it will be airing at 9:30EST across the regional Sportsnet channels. Well looks like I am going to be watching the prelims on my computer, and then the Main Event on Fox.

Dana did an interview today with Ben Fowlkes from cnnsi.com and this is what he said about only airing the one fight:

Tell me a little about how you guys made the final decision to only do one fight, no matter what. At first it seemed like you were considering the possibility of running another fight or some highlights if you had time. How did you decide to just focus on this one fight?

White: It was [Fox Sports Media Group Chairman] David Hill. I went in and said, listen, USA's Tuesday Night Fights and ABC's Wide World of Sports, we all used to watch those, all of us who were big boxing fans. I didn't miss Tuesday Night Fights ever. Every Tuesday night I was on the couch. But when I was younger, I remember my uncles all getting around the TV and watching Wide World of Sports. When we told them the fight was going to be the heavyweight championship, they said, 'Do that, just do the one fight, the heavyweight championship.' It makes sense. That's really the way it went down. It was David Hill's call.

Brock Lesnar is going to be a guest analyst for the broadcast on Saturday. I'm really indifferent to this move; however, what has been released is that there will be no promotion of UFC 139 next week. Rather they will begin the promotion for the December 30 Lesnar/Overeem fight. I don't know if I like that decision. By focusing only on the heavyweights they are working in a very shallow pool while also overlooking the fact that their recent PPV numbers have been sagging and the numbers for the Hendo/Shogun card next weekend could have really been buoyed by some promotion on FOX.

That's what im hoping as well. Anyone have any news on the schedule of Sportsnet?

Net is covering 1.5 hours while fox is covering only an hour. This whole thing seems like a mess to me. I have heard various things on which fights are shown and this that and the other. Either way i hope to see it at Arizonas or at my hotel room in Mississauga.

Has any fighter traveling from Japan had a decent showing in UFC?

To me a lot of it shows how much of Japan was hype. They exhibit no strategy, thus leading to poor performances. It also shows what a dramatic gulf there is between training in the U.S. and training abroad.

There has been talk of how much more draining it is to travel here from Japan than it is from here to Japan.

Personally I don't buy what Baroni said. You don't see fighters having issues traveling from North America to Europe, which in theory would have the same effect as traveling from Japan to North America. I think a lot of Japanese fighters have fought much lesser competition and been overrated. And when they start fighting tougher guys their lack of strategy, and in some cases, top level training shows itself.
