I've got a feeling that Randy Couture is going to be moved over to Strikeforce to get matched up with Fedor. That will be pretty cool.

This is interesting. For right now Strikforce guys will stay in Strikeforce, but when their contracts are up they would be able to float between the brands. One person speculated as to what may result and I wouldn't mind his idea. Turn Strikeforce into a women's/grand prix/tournament brand. This way they wouldn't have two sets of Champions. That would be cool. Apparently this all came together very quickly as discussions had been going on for less than six months.

Brilliant move and even smarter to allow it to continue to exist. It has its fans and to keep things as is allows transition for those fans and possible interpromotional dream matches down the line. It also sets up a tiering of the sport where the UFC guarantees they have the best up in the "big show".
