UDA puts out cards but I'm wondering if collectors here generally treat UDA cards more like 'collectible show pieces', rather than a card that a PC collector feels should be part of their 'completist' collection'

Is there a great majority consensus amongst collectors, that treat these specialty/memorabilia cards in a whole separate category, and don't mix it with their retail, pack-buying cards?

Does Beckett even list these cards in their books?

If a person was to say "I own all the Upper Deck cards of 'XXXX player', would the expectation be from the hobby community that they also own all the UDA cards of that player?

After some on-and-off thinking about this topic, I'll be treating UDA cards as 'memorabilia pieces' rather than lumping them into the group of cards found in hobby and retail packs/boxes. They would be memorabilia pieces/items (which, sometimes, happen to be in the form of a card), and be in the same general grouping of other pieces, like UDA jerseys and UDA framed pictures/art.

Memorabilia cards found or redeemed through packs/boxes, will continue to be viewed as before - 'memorabilia cards'
